Construction

The cue cases are all constructed using kiln dried hardwoods.

I make custom furniture and I construct each case with the attention to details that is expected in my fine furniture. Wood grain is matched as best as possible. I prefer to use wood that others pass over because of the knots, burls and texture. Its harder to work with this wood but produces a final product whose beauty cannot be matched with straight grained / clear wood.

A 1/4 inch box joint is used giving the case strength, no mechanical fasteners like screws, nails or biscuits are used in the cases, just wood and glue.

The hardware used in the cases is brass. The latches have key locks unless otherwise noted. The DRings on the handles are chrome giving them a pleasant contrast to the leather and clips.

Unless otherwise noted the cases are lined with 19oz Forstmanns billiard cloth, foam and flocking to surround your cue with protection. The area for chalk and scuffers have a suede tex coating.

The leather handles are imported by CustomCueCases.Com from England on all the cases. The 1X1 case uses a flat leather handle and has chrome colored hardware.
